No one else matters

Lounged by my side

You shimmering molten gold

Your hands oozing warmth

And these are mine to hold.

My finger caressing yours

Tracing shape of your nail

My eyes searching yours

They’re telling me a tale.

A part of you is air

Or is that your perfume

They come from the same source

From flowers yet to bloom.

No one else matters

The world around is haze

You ripple through my body

In thousand different ways.

    Beautifully written poem.βœ¨πŸ’«

P.S. you can write flowers *yet to* bloom.

    • That’s actually a very good suggestion Chetna. What I had in mind was something very different, as in ‘left to grow to to their peaks, both women and flowers’ before being able to give off the fragrance that good, but yours is so delicate too. You might well see me changing it πŸ˜€…thanks a lot…πŸ™πŸ™
